Brann suffered a huge defeat against reservist and last ranked Viking three days ago and it surprised a lot of people. Well, as I wrote a week ago Viking must win shortly, I expected they can beat Haugesund but finally Brann was the victim, such the life. Forget this game, Brann is different at home, I have never seen poor match when they played at home this season. They started well in the first round and beat champions Rosenborg by 2-1, the goal difference would have been higher. Then they were defeated against Fredrikstad (0-1) and Molde (1-3), these results were unfair in my opinion. Brann dominated against Fredrikstad – especially during the first half - but unable to score while Borges could shot a goal and the guest team secured the lead until the end of the match. Similar match against Molde, Diouf scored two goals and then Brann pressured a lot but goalkeeper Pettersen saved very well, he and Diouf were prominent, the others nothing special. Thereafter come two victories against Start (2-1) and Sogndal (2-0), both totally deserved, Brann played by a convincing manner. For this game they will be without regular right defender Sævarsson, who is suspended and best midfielder Austin is still away due to Gold Cup.  Anyway the defence looks like the worst line in this team, Opdal and Leciejewski are not too excellent keepers, El Fakiri plays poorly, Kalvenes and Sævarsson are bearable, only the young Hungarian guy Korcsmár plays reliably in long term. So a youngster player could be replace Sævarsson, Austin is the only important absentee. But the best defence is the attack, some words about the forward section, Gustavino is fully fit after his minor injury and plays with great enthusiasm recently, we can expect goals from him and topscorer Kim Ojo.

Aalesund was rated as relegation candidate team before this season but they already refuted this after eleven rounds. They lost first two meetings when the season began, then had an excellent period with a lot of nice results. Their coach Kjetil Rekdal is one of the best coaches in Tippeligaen, he can find the best tactic and motivate the players well but the superb period won’t take forever. They were defeated at home against Rosenborg (1-3) three days ago. RBK did not play as a champion team but deserved the win. Before that Aalesund won over Stabæk thanks to goalkeeper Grytebust, who saved in world class mode, anyway Stabæk was much better and should have been gain three points. AFK has a lot of forward players but not any experienced guys, Okoronkwo played two times and showed terrible performance, Sellin misses the best 100% chances usually, Fuhre, Olsen and Myklebust have not experience on this level while Post is injured. On the top of that two very important midfielders Morrison and Phillips are still out due to international game.

I think Brann should win this clash. They did not disappoint me when played at home ground. The visitors are not not world beaters away from home especially on natural grass, it could be a hard game for them.
