Sogndal, Sarpsborg and Fredrikstad are the newcomers this season and I think Fredrikstad has got the biggest chance to avoid the relegation. It confirmed their results, Sogndal has collected two points so far and hasn’t got enough potential, Sarpsborg plays well at home but awful in away. Fredrikstad is different, they spend a year in Adeccoligaen and they are good enough in my opinion and showed good performance. Two teams have defeated them this season,  firstly Viking (0-1) but that was  a balanced game, FFK deserved a draw I think so, then Stabæk won (3-1), fair result, however FFK was without Horn and Piiroja (both key central defenders) and Elyounoussi (very important attacker). Otherwise they won over Aalesund, Brann and Rosenborg and played a draw with Lillestrøm. Central defender Martinsen is out due to suspension but is not problem, Piiroja will be back after injury and he can play together Horn. Valencia is doubtful, not too important.

Vålerenga is one of the best team on paper but they are struggling after the good start. They lost against Rosenborg and Brann, both 0-2 and Kjelsås knocked out them from the NM Cup, terrible result, Fredrikstad advanced to the next round with an easy win, 3-0 against Nesodden. VIF is still without key attacker Morten Berre, regular defender dos Santos is doubtful, VIF is not in easy situation.

The hosts are fully motivated, more than 12 000 supporters are expected at Fredrikstad Stadion, all tickets are sold. It will be very difficult for Vålerenga, I can not imagine away win here.
