Brann has sold many players after the bad previous Tippeligaen season and they are much better with the new signings. I thought especially on Torp and Kim Ojo, they have come from Adeccoligaen teams but both are playing excellent. Brann have got better away records than home so far but it isn’t so important yet after six rounds, just I must mention because they were a bit unlucky at their home games. First of all they beat champions Rosenborg by 2-1, they were impressive and Rosenborg had not chance to win. Then they lost against Fredrikstad (0-1) despite dominated during the first half and I think they deserved a point. Finally two weeks ago Molde beat them (1-3), Brann was not bad, both teams were equally good, the hosts had bad luck.

IK Start looks weaker if plays away from home. They won over Odd Grenland in the first round, the clash ended of 2-0 but Odd had great chances too, then Tromsø beat them by 2-0 and newcomers Sarpsborg also won against them. Tromsø was clearly better, Start was not bad at all against Sarpsborg but all in all the home win was deserved.

All important players are available, the teams haven’t got any important injuries or suspensions. Regular attacker Gustavino is doubtful for the hosts but he will be available likely. Both teams played NM Cup match last midweek and both won, Brann beat Fana (3-2) - the coach rested two important defenders Korcsmár and El Fakiri - IK Start beat Vindbjart (4-3), they used their best line-up. I think Brann is strong enough to win this meeting and improve their home statistics.
